Northern Territory Planning & Advocacy Day

Northern Territory Planning & Advocacy Day

Please join the SPA NT Branch for an afternoon of planning to form strategies regarding regional priorities around advocacy and other member activities. Speech Pathology Australia CEO, Gail Mulcair will join us to facilitate this member session.

Topics will include:

  • Member Engagement
  • SPA’s Reconciliation Action Plan
  • Community involvement and activities (e.g. Deck Chair Cinema, Smile-a-Mile, Darwin Public Library)
  • Advocacy planning

We want to use the resources at our disposal to tackle issues that are impacting your work as well as think about the bigger picture for the speech pathology profession in the Territory (e.g. growing up a future workforce).

We hope to have as many members as possible from across the sectors.

To assist in engaging members from across the Northern Territory, there is a limited amount of financial support offered for travel and accommodation for up to 2 members from Katherine and 2 members from Alice Springs (other areas may be considered). Please contact Liz Young, Manager Member Services and Operations at lyoung@speechpathologyaustralia.org.au if you wish to apply for this.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact Bea Staley MSPA CPSP by email bea.staley@cdu.edu.au

Please contact National Office if you have any queries regarding registration at membership@speechpathologyaustralia.org.au or 1300 368 835.
