SPA regulation advocacy survey results

In November, we invited speech pathologists to complete a survey to inform our advocacy efforts.

The survey included:

  • Part 1: Federal election priorities (open to SPA members in Australia)
    Participants shared their thoughts on federal issues impacting the profession. The questions focused on key issues within the Federal Government's jurisdiction to ensure our advocacy efforts targeted areas where they could have the most impact in the next election.
  • Part 2: Regulation of speech pathologists (open to SPA members and non-member practising speech pathologists in Australia)
    We sought to understand which aspects of professional regulation mattered most to you. We welcomed input from all members and non-member practising speech pathologists in Australia to inform our advocacy.
