CERTIFIED PRACTISING MEMBER
A suitably qualified person engaged in the activities of speech pathology as a practitioner, administrator, educator, researcher or any combination thereof, for which they receive payment, and who meets the Professional Self Regulation (PSR) requirements.
NON PRACTISING MEMBER.
A suitably qualified person not engaged in the activities of speech pathology as a practitioner, administrator, educator, researcher or any combination thereof, nor receiving remuneration for speech pathology activities.
STUDENT MEMBER
A person currently studying an accredited Australian entry level speech pathology course.
NON CERTIFIED MEMBER
A suitably qualified person engaged in the activities of speech pathology as a practitioner, administrator, educator, researcher or any combination thereof, for which they receive payment, but who does not meet the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. Non-certified membership is time limited for a maximum of one renewal period or 12 months which is ever the greater of the two.
RE-ENTRY MEMBER
A person suitably qualified in speech pathology who is undertaking the Re-entry program to return to practice after a career break of more than five years but less than fifteen.
ALUMNUS MEMBER
A person who has ceased speech pathology practice but has held membership of the Association in the past for at least ten years.
