It is fundamental to the professional responsibilities of speech pathologists that the highest standards of integrity and ethical principles are observed. With this in mind in 2000, The Speech Pathology Association of Australia Limited (SPA) substantially revised its Code of Ethics, and established its Ethics Board to promote ethical practice, manage, and when necessary, to enforce the Code of Ethics.
